We Are Gather

An Investment NSW funded public event aimed at revitalising the micro CBD of Chippendale, in collaboration with We Are Gather. This festival was a full precinct take-over of Kensington Street, open to the general public from Friday night through to Sunday.

The event engaged 12 restaurants along the street to do street-side, pop-up food stalls with festival curated dishes that customers could pair with 12 of NSW's hottest wine makers. 12 NSW boutique wine brands were secured by We Are Gather whilst The Round Table managed all the production and onsite needs including marquees, counters, bump-in and out procedure, licensing and service operations.

The Results

The event delivered on it's objective and target audience. 3500 general public attended the event across the 3 days. The street was full of families and general public of all ages eating, drinking, dancing and interacting with the community. We created a vibey, positive atmosphere for restaurants, wineries and the general public to come together. Partnering with 12 of the key restaurants for the event creating a fresh sense of community and connection amongst the restaurants owners and operators.
