Immersive sensory experiences in Sydney and Melbourne featuring custom geodesic booths, sensory labs, and a paired dining and cocktail menu, all inspired by the 10 botanicals of Bombay Sapphire.

Bombay Sapphire selected The Round Table to concept, design and produce sell out Project Botanicals series’ in Sydney and Melbourne, which spanned two weeks and 16 events. They needed to take guests on a journey through its botanicals via its creative lens, Artistry, and bring the spirit of the brand to life in creative and unexpected ways. Our team developed the event’s website, and a sensory journey featuring 10 custom geodesic booths and sensory cards. This was complemented by a paired cocktail and dining menu, where guests selected dishes and drinks based on their preferred botanicals from the sensory exploration. Tabletop sensory labs added to the experience, and featured edible flowers, lemon infused sprays and pipette droppers of bitters.

The Results

The event achieved its core objective, in that all tickets were sold prior to the launch. There were over 5,300 onsite experiences hosted across the two cities, and more than 85,100 engagements on social media. Media sentiment surrounding the event was 99.5% positive, which highlights the success of our creative, production and overall management of the experiences. In Melbourne alone 14,300 cocktails were purchased, and we played host to 130 key customers.
