Bombay Sapphire

A pop-up experience featuring 10 tapas style dishes by renowned chef Gary Mehigan, and 10 cocktails by Australia's leading bars, all inspired by the 10 botanicals of Bombay Sapphire.

We were brought on board as the lead agency for Bacardi-Martini to develop a unique experiential activation, which would encourage consumers to trial Bombay Sapphire, and enhance its brand image. This prompted the development of a three-week event series in Melbourne, where our team handled the design and build of the experience and dedicated website, managed ticketing, photography and talent, and executed on all aspects of the series, including a media launch. Furthermore, we worked in partnership with the brand’s PR and digital agencies to amplify the series.

The Results

The pop-up attracted just under 5,300 people over 12 nights, and saw 13,000+ Bombay Sapphire cocktails served. Many took to socials to share their experience, with 620 Instagram posts shared, and 1.4M impressions were garnered on Facebook. The website received 29,250 unique website visits, media partnerships were secured with Broadsheet, Concrete Playground and Time Out, and a total of 56 pieces of coverage reached 10M Australians.
