Bombay Sapphire

Journey To The Edge of Imagination

The Round Table

Presents

Bombay Sapphire

An enthralling projection experience that immersed guests in Bombay Sapphire’s botanicals, as they travelled to four completely bespoke, worldly destinations.

Bombay Sapphire sought out The Round Table to design and produce an unforgettable food and beverage experience, which would tell the story behind its botanicals, raise brand awareness, and drive sales. Our team handled creative ideation, which saw us design a large format, immersive projection experience. It featured dark tunnels that represented a maze, and seamlessly connected the four unique spaces, while building energy and excitement for what was to come. Throughout their journey into this imaginary botanical world, guests were treated to a sensory exploration of food and drink, and we deepened the experience further by weaving a range of sound, smell and theatrical performances throughout.

The Results

The two-hour experience, which saw several sessions run over eight days, attracted over 5,700 guests, including 200 VIPs and 150 bartenders, and exceeded key KPIs. It produced a reach of 13.5M versus the brand’s goal of 2M, and Bombay Sapphire saw a 79% lift in engagement, which far exceeded its goal. There was such high demand for the offering that we opened up additional sessions – tickets were being traded on platforms such as eBay – and guests scored the event a 5/5, meanwhile it achieved a 98% positive sentiment rating. Bombay Sapphire saw a 20% growth in the gin category following the event, versus the 17% that is typical of the spirit, and purchase intention increased by 62%.
