An inspiring, premium summer pop-up bar experience at Sydney’s renowned Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), which combined exclusive cocktails, art and design across 16 weeks.

Patron Tequila sought to bring a unique seasonal experience to Sydney, which would connect the spirit to brand aficionados and establish it as a masterpiece in their minds, through the artistic expression of magical realism. The Round Table procured a partnership with the MCA to launch this first of its kind experience, which was designed to coincide with its SIAS exhibition series. We managed all design and styling of the space, and secured a collaboration with artist Offerings, who created three magical realism inspired installations for the pop-up. We ensured the seamless management of the bar, which was serviced by a team of highly trained brand experts.

The Results

In addition to overseeing the space over all 73 nights, our team produced a media launch for 100 top tier journalists, and a party for 120 delicious. guests. Furthermore, the client was so impressed with our creative ideation, that the initial scope extended to include the Tequila Patron passport concept. This on-premise integration invited customers to collect a stamp at select CBD bars on purchase of an Art of Patron Cocktail, to receive a limited edition Patron Agave glass.
